A bill for an act
 relating to higher education; appropriating money for the large animal veterinarian
loan forgiveness program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION; LARGE ANIMAL VETERINARIAN LOAN
FORGIVENESS PROGRAM.

$500,000 in fiscal year 2018 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2019 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of the Office of Higher Education for the large animal
veterinarian loan forgiveness program under Minnesota Statutes, section 136A.1795. The
base for fiscal year 2028 is $0.
