A bill for an act
relating to education; making the North Central
Service Cooperative a contracting agency for the
purpose of calculating special education revenue;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 125A.76, by
adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 125A.76, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin Contractor status for the north central service
cooperative. new text end

new text begin For the purposes of special education revenue
under this section, the North Central Service Cooperative shall
be allowed to act as a contractor when providing staffing and
other related services to its member government agencies.
