A bill for an act
relating to highways; designating the Irv Anderson Memorial Highway;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 161.14, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2008, section 161.14, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Route No. 11, marked as Trunk
Highway 53 on the effective date of this section, from the city of Virginia to the
city of International Falls is designated the "Irv Anderson Memorial Highway." The
commissioner of transportation shall adopt a suitable design to mark this highway and
erect suitable signs, subject to section 161.139.
