scientists.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$1,278,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $1,000,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of public safety for eight drug chemistry forensic
scientists. Of this amount, $278,000 in fiscal year 2020 is for lab equipment.
