  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to veterans; appropriating money for the Iron 
  1.3             Range Veterans Memorial Park in the Eveleth, Gilbert, 
  1.4             Mountain Iron, and Virginia area. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $400,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2000 from the 
  1.8   general fund to the commissioner of veterans affairs for the 
  1.9   purpose of providing a grant for a memorial to be constructed in 
  1.10  the Eveleth, Gilbert, Mountain Iron, and Virginia area to honor 
  1.11  veterans from all wars involving armed forces of the United 
  1.12  States.  The appropriation does not expire and is available 
  1.13  until expended.  $10,000 of this amount is for administrative 
  1.14  costs.
