relating to public safety; appropriating money for probation supervision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin PROBATION SUPERVISION, COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS ACT
SYSTEM.

new text begin $2,311,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $2,311,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of corrections to be added to the Community
Corrections Act subsidy, as described in Minnesota Statutes, section 401.14.

Sec. 2. new text begin PROBATION SUPERVISION, COUNTY PROBATION OFFICERS
SYSTEM.

new text begin $254,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $254,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated
from the general fund to the commissioner of corrections to be added to the county
probation officers reimbursement base, as described in Minnesota Statutes, section 244.19,
subdivision 6.
