  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             restoring vegetation along the Mississippi river. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; GREENING THE GREAT RIVER PARK 
  1.6   PROJECT.] 
  1.7      $400,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   commissioner of natural resources for a grant to the St. Paul 
  1.9   Foundation for restoring native vegetation along the Mississippi 
  1.10  river through the greening the great river park project.  Money 
  1.11  is available for the grant to the extent matched by an 
  1.12  expenditure of money from nonstate sources for the project until 
  1.13  June 30, 1999.
