A bill for an act
relating to crime victims; expanding the protection against employer retaliation;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 611A.036, subdivisions 2, 7.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 611A.036, subdivision 2, is amended to
read:


Subd. 2.

Victim's spouse or next of kin.

An employer must allow a victim of a
