A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; requiring permission to enter all privately owned
land for outdoor recreation purposes; amending Minnesota Statutes 2014, section
97B.001, subdivision 2.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 97B.001, subdivision 2, is amended to read:
Subd. 2.
Permission required to enter deleted text begin agriculturaldeleted text end new text begin privately ownednew text end land for
outdoor recreation purposes.
Except as provided in subdivisions 5 and 6, a person may
not enter deleted text begin agriculturaldeleted text end new text begin privately ownednew text end land for outdoor recreation purposesdeleted text begin ,deleted text end without first
obtaining permission of the owner, occupant, or lessee.
