  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to traffic regulations; prohibiting radar 
  1.3             jammers; amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 
  1.4             169.14, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 169.14, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 12.  [RADAR JAMMER.] For purposes of this section, 
  1.9   "radar jammer" means any instrument, device, or equipment 
  1.10  designed or intended for use with a vehicle or otherwise to jam 
  1.11  or interfere in any manner with a speed-measuring device 
  1.12  operated by a peace officer. 
  1.13     No person shall sell, offer for sale, use, or possess any 
  1.14  radar jammer in this state.
