BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $2,030,000 is appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of human services for purposes of the senior companion
program under Minnesota Statutes, section 256.977, for the biennium beginning July
1, 2007.

new text begin Retired and senior volunteer program. new text end

new text begin $2,030,000 is appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of human services for purposes of the volunteer
programs for retired senior citizens under Minnesota Statutes, section 256.9753, for the
biennium beginning July 1, 2007.

new text begin Foster grandparent program. new text end

new text begin $2,030,000 is appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of human services to fund the foster grandparent program
under Minnesota Statutes, section 256.976, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2007.
