  1.3             funds; amending Minnesota Statutes 2002, section

  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2002, section 198.261, is 
  1.7   amended to read: 
  1.8      198.261 [CANTEEN AND, COFFEE SHOP, AND WOOD SHOP.] 
  1.9      Any profits derived from the operation of canteens and, 
  1.10  coffee shops, and wood shops at the Minnesota veterans homes 
  1.11  shall be used by the board only for the direct benefit of the 
  1.12  residents of the homes.
