A bill for an act
relating to public health; directing the commissioner of health to study and report
back on the effect of the pesticide Lindane on children.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

The commissioner of health shall create a committee of stakeholders, including
at least one environmental health research scientist and at least one parent consumer
advocate, to review the scientific literature and make recommendations to the legislature
on the health impact of Lindane on children and report back by January 15, 2008.
