  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for 
  1.3             water and sewer extension to the Fond du Lac area. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [WATER AND SEWER EXTENSION TO FOND DU LAC 
  1.6   AREA.] 
  1.7      $2,500,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   department of trade and economic development for a grant to the 
  1.9   Western Lake Superior Sanitary District for water and sanitary 
  1.10  sewer service to the Fond du Lac area to prevent an imminent 
  1.11  threat of discharge of untreated sewage into the designated 
  1.12  outstanding international resource value waters of the Lake 
  1.13  Superior basin.
