  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to higher education; appropriating money for 
  1.3             the Arrowhead University Center. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $1,200,000 in fiscal year 2002 and $1,200,000 in fiscal 
  1.7   year 2003 is appropriated from the general fund to the board of 
  1.8   trustees of the Minnesota state colleges and universities for 
  1.9   purposes of the Arrowhead University Center through the 
  1.10  Northeast Higher Education District.  The appropriation shall be 
  1.11  used to develop new programs, improve and coordinate student 
  1.12  services, and increase capacity for training and instruction of 
  1.13  learners served by the Arrowhead University Center.
