  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Itasca county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PUBLIC SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; ITASCA COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, Itasca county shall sell the 
  1.10  tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is described in 
  1.11  paragraph (c), under the remaining provisions of Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.13     (b) The sale must be in a form approved by the attorney 
  1.14  general. 
  1.15     (c) The land to be sold is located in Itasca county and is 
  1.16  described as: 
  1.17     All of CONDOMINIUM NUMBER 4, POKEGAMA COMMONS, a 
  1.18     condominium, including the "Additional Real Estate" and 
  1.19     "Common Elements" delineated and described therein, except 
  1.20     Condominium Unit Number 1, Condominium Unit Number 2, 
  1.21     Townhouse Unit A102, Townhouse Unit A104, Townhouse Unit 
  1.22     A201, Townhouse Unit A202, Townhouse Unit A203, and 
  1.23     Townhouse Unit A204, according to the plat and declarations 
  1.24     thereof on file and of record in the office of the Itasca 
  1.25     county recorder, Itasca county, Minnesota. 
  2.1      (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  2.2   management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  2.3   returned to private ownership.
