  1.2             relating to education; authorizing a severance levy 
  1.3             for independent school district No. 14, Fridley. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [SEVERANCE LEVY; FRIDLEY.] 
  1.6      Independent school district No. 14, Fridley, may levy an 
  1.7   amount up to $150,000 each year for a period of five years for 
  1.8   severance and early retirement incentives for licensed employees 
  1.9   who have retired early. 
  1.10     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective for taxes 
  1.11  payable in 2004 and later years.
