A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; establishing a noise barrier maintenance account in the
trunk highway fund; appropriating money; proposing coding for new law in
Minnesota Statutes, chapter 161.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin [161.087] NOISE BARRIER MAINTENANCE ACCOUNT.

new text begin A noise barrier maintenance account is established in the trunk highway fund. Money
in the account is appropriated to the commissioner. The commissioner may spend proceeds
of the account for maintenance of existing noise barriers, including repair and repainting
of the barriers.
