  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; requiring a state park 
  1.3             lifetime pass study. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [STATE PARK LIFETIME PASS.] 
  1.6      The commissioner of natural resources must study the 
  1.7   concept and possibility of a lifetime state park entrance pass 
  1.8   for residents.  The commissioner must address the cost of a 
  1.9   lifetime pass, the incentive it may create for more residents to 
  1.10  purchase a pass, and any possible gain or loss to state park 
  1.11  income. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.13     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
