  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to agriculture; clarifying certain references 
  1.3             in the grain weighing, sampling, and analysis law; 
  1.4             amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 17B.03, 
  1.5             subdivision 1. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 17B.03, 
  1.8   subdivision 1, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subdivision 1.  [COMMISSIONER'S POWERS.] The commissioner 
  1.10  of agriculture shall exercise general supervision over the 
  1.11  inspection, grading, weighing, sampling, and analysis of grain 
  1.12  within the state of Minnesota subject to the provisions of the 
  1.13  United States Grain Standards Act of 1976 as amended and the 
  1.14  rules promulgated thereunder by the United States Department of 
  1.15  Agriculture.
