relating to agriculture; appropriating money for ethanol blender pump grants.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION, BLENDER PUMP GRANTS.

new text begin $150,000 in fiscal year 2012 and $150,000 in fiscal year 2013 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of commerce for ethanol blender pump grants. The
commissioner may reimburse owners of gasoline service stations for up to 75 percent of
the total cost of installing an ethanol blender pump, including the tank and any related
components, up to a maximum of $15,000 per pump. Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes,
section 16A.28, this appropriation is available until expended.
