 relating to public safety; requiring peace officer training to avoid racial bias
at least once every three years; amending Minnesota Statutes 2014, section
626.8471, subdivision 6.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2014, section 626.8471, subdivision 6, is amended to read:


Subd. 6.

In-service training learning objectives.

By August 1, 2001, the board
shall prepare learning objectives for in-service training to instruct peace officers in
