relating to energy; appropriating money for feasibility study for plasma torch
gasification facility.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$400,000 in fiscal year 2008 is appropriated from the general fund to the
commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency for a grant to the Koochiching Economic
Development Authority for a feasibility study for a plasma torch gasification facility that
converts municipal solid waste into energy and slag.
