  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; appropriating money for a 
  1.3             teacher preparation program to educate teachers of 
  1.4             students with emotional and behavioral disorders. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [TEACHER PREPARATION PROGRAM FOR TEACHERS OF 
  1.7   STUDENTS WITH EMOTIONAL AND BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS.] 
  1.8      $600,000 in fiscal year 2002 is appropriated from the 
  1.9   general fund to the commissioner of children, families, and 
  1.10  learning for a grant to Augsburg College for its teacher 
  1.11  preparation program to educate teachers of students with 
  1.12  emotional and behavioral disorders.  Augsburg College shall 
  1.13  coordinate the program with special school district No. 1, 
  1.14  Minneapolis, and independent school district No. 625, St. Paul.  
  1.15  This appropriation is available until June 30, 2003.
