  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money to the 
  1.3             commissioner of corrections to expand the productive 
  1.4             day initiative programs of the Dodge-Fillmore-Olmsted 
  1.5             community corrections agency, the Arrowhead regional 
  1.6             community corrections agency, and the Ramsey county 
  1.7             community corrections agency. 
  1.8   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.9      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION; DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS.] 
  1.10     Subdivision 1.  [DEFINITION.] As used in this section, 
  1.11  "productive day initiative program" has the meaning given in 
  1.12  Minnesota Statutes, section 241.275. 
  1.13     Subd. 2.  [PRODUCTIVE DAY INITIATIVE PROGRAM; 
  1.14  DODGE-FILLMORE-OLMSTED COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS.] (a) $250,000 is 
  1.15  appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of 
  1.16  corrections for the fiscal biennium ending June 30, 2001.  The 
  1.17  commissioner shall distribute this money to the 
  1.18  Dodge-Fillmore-Olmsted community corrections agency for use in a 
  1.19  project to expand the agency's productive day initiative program 
  1.20  to include juvenile offenders who are 16 years old and older. 
  1.21     (b) $250,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.22  commissioner of corrections for the fiscal biennium ending June 
  1.23  30, 2001.  The commissioner shall distribute this money to the 
  1.24  Dodge-Fillmore-Olmsted community corrections agency for use in a 
  1.25  pilot project to expand the agency's productive day initiative 
  1.26  program to include juvenile offenders who are between 13 and 16 
  2.1   years of age. 
  2.2      Subd. 3.  [PRODUCTIVE DAY INITIATIVE PROGRAM; ARROWHEAD 
  2.3   REGIONAL COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS.] $250,000 is appropriated from 
  2.4   the general fund to the commissioner of corrections for the 
  2.5   fiscal biennium ending June 30, 2001.  The commissioner shall 
  2.6   distribute this money to the Arrowhead regional community 
  2.7   corrections agency for use in a project to expand the agency's 
  2.8   productive day initiative program to include juvenile offenders 
  2.9   who are 16 years old and older. 
  2.10     Subd. 4.  [PRODUCTIVE DAY INITIATIVE PROGRAM; RAMSEY COUNTY 
  2.11  COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS.] $250,000 is appropriated from the 
  2.12  general fund to the commissioner of corrections for the fiscal 
  2.13  biennium ending June 30, 2001.  The commissioner shall 
  2.14  distribute this money to the Ramsey county community corrections 
  2.15  agency for use in a pilot project to expand the agency's 
  2.16  productive day initiative program to include juvenile offenders 
  2.17  who are 13 years old and older.
