A bill for an act
 relating to human services; authorizing a planned closure rate adjustment for a
nursing facility in Big Stone County; amending Minnesota Statutes 2006, section
256B.437, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 256B.437, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

new text begin Notwithstanding the time period
specified in subdivision 3, the commissioner may approve a planned closure rate
adjustment in Big Stone County for an eight-bed facility in Clinton for reassignment to a
50-bed facility in Graceville. The adjustment shall be calculated according to subdivision
6.
