  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing conveyance of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Hennepin county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; HENNEPIN COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, and the public sale provisions of 
  1.10  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, Hennepin county shall convey to 
  1.11  the city of Brooklyn Park for no consideration the tax-forfeited 
  1.12  land bordering public water that is described in paragraph (c). 
  1.13     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.14  attorney general and provide that the land reverts to the state 
  1.15  if the city of Brooklyn Park stops using the land for the public 
  1.16  purpose described in paragraph (d). 
  1.17     (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Hennepin county 
  1.18  and is described as: 
  1.19     Tract D, Registered Land Survey No. 0293 (PID 
  1.20     28-119-21-22-0087) 
  1.21     (d) The county has determined that the land is needed by 
  1.22  the city of Brooklyn Park for open space or park purposes. 
  1.23     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.24     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
