  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing public sale of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Todd county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; TODD COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.8   282.018, subdivision 1, Todd county may sell the tax-forfeited 
  1.9   land bordering public water that is described in paragraph (c), 
  1.10  under the remaining provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 
  1.11  282. 
  1.12     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.13  attorney general. 
  1.14     (c) The land that may be conveyed is located in Todd county 
  1.15  and is described as Lot 7 and Lot 8 of Little Deer Beach, on 
  1.16  Little Osakis Lake, in Leslie Township, Section 26, Township 129 
  1.17  North, Range 35 West. 
  1.18     (d) The county has determined that the county's land 
  1.19  management interests would best be served if the lands were 
  1.20  returned to private ownership. 
  1.21     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.22     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
