A bill for an act
 relating to higher education; appropriating money for transfer to the Cook County
Higher Education Board.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $200,000 in fiscal year 2020 and $200,000 in fiscal year 2021 are appropriated from the
general fund to the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for
transfer to the Cook County Higher Education Board to provide educational programming
and academic support services to remote regions in northeastern Minnesota. This
appropriation is in addition to other funds previously appropriated for transfer to the Cook
County Higher Education Board.
