  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; authorizing issuance of 
  1.3             $6,800,000 in state trunk highway bonds for 
  1.4             construction of a new bridge on marked trunk highway 
  1.5             95. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [HIGHWAY 95 BRIDGE; APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.8      $6,800,000 is appropriated from the trunk highway fund for 
  1.9   construction of a new bridge on marked trunk highway 95 at its 
  1.10  intersection with marked interstate highway 35 in the city of 
  1.11  North Branch.  This appropriation is available until spent. 
  1.12     Sec. 2.  [BOND SALE AUTHORIZATION.] 
  1.13     On request of the commissioner of transportation, the 
  1.14  commissioner of finance shall issue and sell Minnesota state 
  1.15  trunk highway bonds for the purposes provided in Minnesota 
  1.16  Statutes, section 167.51, subdivision 1, in the aggregate 
  1.17  principal amount of $6,800,000 in the manner and on the 
  1.18  conditions prescribed in Minnesota Statutes, sections 167.50 and 
  1.19  167.51, and in the Minnesota Constitution, article XIV, section 
  1.20  11.  The proceeds of the bonds must be deposited in the trunk 
  1.21  highway fund for expenditure in accordance with section 1.
