A bill for an act
relating to transportation; appropriating money for commuter bus service along
Rush Line Corridor.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin RUSH LINE CORRIDOR COMMUTER BUS SERVICE.

new text begin $701,000 is appropriated for fiscal year 2010 from the general fund to the
Metropolitan Council for operations and capital costs of providing commuter bus service
along the Rush Line Corridor, from Lent Township in Chisago County generally and
southerly along marked Interstate Highway 35/35E and marked Trunk Highway 61 to the
city of St. Paul. Any amount not expended does not cancel but may be carried forward
to fiscal year 2011.
