relating to human services; appropriating money for food shelf programs.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION FOR FOOD SHELF PROGRAMS.

new text begin $500,000 in fiscal year 2014 and $500,000 in fiscal year 2015 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of human services for food shelf programs under
Minnesota Statutes, section 256E.34. If the appropriation for either year is insufficient, the
appropriation for the other year is available for it. This appropriation is added to the base.
