BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin HIGHER EDUCATION ASSET PRESERVATION AND
REPLACEMENT.

new text begin $1,456,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund for deferred higher education
asset preservation and replacement in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, section
135A.046. $810,000,000 is for the Board of Regents of the University of Minnesota.
$646,000,000 is for the Board of Trustees of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
