  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education finance; authorizing a fund 
  1.3             transfer for intermediate school district No. 916, 
  1.4             Northeast Metro.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [FUND TRANSFER; NORTHEAST METRO.] 
  1.7      Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 123B.80, 
  1.8   123B.912, and 475.61, subdivision 4, on June 30, 2001, and again 
  1.9   on June 30, 2002, intermediate school district No. 916, 
  1.10  Northeast Metro, may permanently transfer up to $400,000 from 
  1.11  its debt redemption fund to its capital account in its general 
  1.12  fund without making a levy reduction. 
  1.13     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.14  following final enactment.
