  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the environment; appropriating money for 
  1.3             combined sewer overflow grants to the city of Red Wing.
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $750,000 is appropriated from the state bond fund to the 
  1.7   pollution control agency for combined sewer overflow grants to 
  1.8   the city of Red Wing under Minnesota Statutes, section 116.162, 
  1.9   for projects to begin in fiscal year 1996.  The amount of the 
  1.10  grant must not exceed one-half of the capital costs of the city 
  1.11  of Red Wing to abate combined sewer overflow.
