  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing health and safety 
  1.3             revenue for independent school district No. 2125, 
  1.4             Triton. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [PROJECT QUALIFICATION; TRITON.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [ELIGIBILITY.] Notwithstanding Minnesota 
  1.8   Statutes, section 123B.57, independent school district No. 2125, 
  1.9   Triton, may include all unreimbursed costs associated with the 
  1.10  testing, evaluation, removal and replacement of building 
  1.11  fixtures and equipment necessitated by the discovery of mold in 
  1.12  a school building in its health and safety plan. 
  1.13     Subd. 2.  [COST RECOVERY.] Independent school district No. 
  1.14  2125, Triton, must pursue all reasonable options to recover 
  1.15  expenses resulting from the mold from its insurance company, the 
  1.16  subcontractors, and any other parties responsible for the damage 
  1.17  caused by the mold. 
  1.18     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
