A bill for an act
relating to higher education; appropriating money for the maintenance and
acquisition of equipment at Alexandria Technical and Community College.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin MANUFACTURING PROGRAMS EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE
AND ACQUISITION; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $650,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of Trustees of the
Minnesota State Colleges and Universities for purposes of equipment maintenance and
acquisition for manufacturing programs at Alexandria Technical and Community College,
including the machine tool and welding programs, and any other appropriate programs as
determined by the college. This is a onetime appropriation.
