A bill for an act
 relating to public safety; motor vehicles; modifying the date on which the
commissioner of public safety must begin collecting contributions for Minnesota
golf license plates; amending Laws 2014, chapter 312, article 11, section 3.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Laws 2014, chapter 312, article 11, section 3, the effective date, is amended
to read:


EFFECTIVE DATE.

Subdivisions 1 to 4 are effective January 1, 2015, for special
Minnesota golf plates issued on or after that date. Subdivision 5 is effective deleted text begin January
1, 2017deleted text end new text begin August 1, 2015new text end .
