  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; requiring a land exchange in 
  1.3             St. Louis county. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [LAND EXCHANGE.] 
  1.6      Subdivision 1.  [EXCHANGE REQUIRED.] The commissioner of 
  1.7   natural resources shall exchange, according to Minnesota 
  1.8   Statutes, sections 94.341 to 94.348, the following trust fund 
  1.9   land in St. Louis county:  Lot 11, Block 1 of Lake Leander 
  1.10  Homesite Plat No. 1, Section 16, Township 60 North, Range 19 
  1.11  West. 
  1.12     Subd. 2.  [DEADLINE.] The exchange required under 
  1.13  subdivision 1 must be completed by December 31, 2003. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
