  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to appropriations; appropriating money for an 
  1.3             environmental study at a cement plant site in the city 
  1.4             of Duluth. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [ENVIRONMENTAL STUDY.] 
  1.7      $75,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.8   department of environment and natural resources for a grant to 
  1.9   the city of Duluth to conduct an environmental assessment study 
  1.10  of the former USX cement plant site to determine the extent to 
  1.11  which this site is free of contaminants.
