  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the Western Lake Superior sanitary 
  1.3             district; modifying board members' compensation; 
  1.4             amending Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 458D.03, 
  1.5             subdivision 9. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1998, section 458D.03, 
  1.8   subdivision 9, is amended to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 9.  [BOARD MEMBERS' COMPENSATION.] Each board member 
  1.10  shall be paid a per diem compensation of $35 $50 for meetings 
  1.11  and for such other services as are specifically authorized by 
  1.12  the board, and shall be reimbursed for all reasonable expenses 
  1.13  incurred in the performance of the member's duties as determined 
  1.14  by the board.
