A bill for an act
relating to liquor; establishing a pilot project for Sunday off-sale of intoxicating
liquor.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. new text begin SUNDAY OFF-SALE; PILOT PROJECT.

Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.504, subdivision 4, sales of
intoxicating liquor may be made by an off-sale licensee on Sundays between the hours of
8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. in the following counties: Anoka, St. Louis, and Winona.

Section 1 expires five years following the day of final enactment.

Section 1 applies in a county named in section 1, following that county's compliance
with Minnesota Statutes, section 645.021, subdivisions 2 and 3.
