  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to human services; exempting expunged police 
  1.3             or court records from licensing considerations; 
  1.4             amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 245A.04, by 
  1.5             adding a subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 245A.04, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 3e.  [EXPUNGED RECORDS.] The contents of a police or 
  1.10  court record that has been expunged under chapter 609A must not 
  1.11  be used by the commissioner as a basis for disqualification 
  1.12  under this section. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
