  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to highways; prohibiting commissioner of 
  1.3             transportation from eliminating or substantially 
  1.4             reducing railroad access at a point on marked trunk 
  1.5             highway No. 55 in Minneapolis. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [TRUNK HIGHWAY 55; RAILROAD ACCESS.] 
  1.8      The commissioner of transportation shall take no action 
  1.9   relating to the construction or reconstruction of marked trunk 
  1.10  highway No. 55 in Minneapolis between East 28th Street and East 
  1.11  29th Street that would have the effect of eliminating or 
  1.12  substantially reducing railroad access across the highway. 
  1.13     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.14     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
