  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to game and fish; modifying bait provisions; 
  1.3             amending Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 97C.341. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 2000, section 97C.341, is 
  1.6   amended to read: 
  1.7      97C.341 [CERTAIN FISH PROHIBITED FOR BAIT RESTRICTIONS.] 
  1.8      A person may not use live minnows imported from outside of 
  1.9   the state, game fish, goldfish, or carp for bait.  A person may 
  1.10  use leeches from Canada as bait.
