  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money to 
  1.3             construct roads. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.6      $1,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.7   commissioner of natural resources in fiscal year 2002 to 
  1.8   construct and connect roads to state lands within Superior 
  1.9   National Forest.  The commissioner must report on the progress 
  1.10  of the road building to the house environment and natural 
  1.11  resources finance and transportation finance committees and the 
  1.12  senate environment and agriculture budget and transportation 
  1.13  budget divisions.
