A bill for an act
 relating to insurance; requiring a premium reduction
for snowmobiles installed with a hazard lighting
system; amending Minnesota Statutes 2004, section
84.871, by adding a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2004, section 84.871, is
amended by adding a subdivision to read:

new text begin If an owner of a snowmobile
operates a snowmobile installed with an auxiliary hazard
lighting system, an insurer must provide a premium reduction of
at least 15 percent on its policies of insuring snowmobiles
issued or renewed in this state.
