  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; directing the commissioner of 
  1.3             transportation to proceed with reconstruction of I-35E 
  1.4             and I-694 interchange. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION.] 
  1.7      The commissioner of transportation shall proceed without 
  1.8   delay to build the project known as "Unweave the Weave" to 
  1.9   reconstruct the I-35E and I-694 freeway interchange, with Phase 
  1.10  I construction beginning in 2003 and Phase 2 construction 
  1.11  beginning no later than 2005.
