  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to highways; requiring commissioner of 
  1.3             transportation to construct segment of marked trunk 
  1.4             highway No. 252 to provide three lanes in each 
  1.5             direction. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [TRUNK HIGHWAY 252; CONSTRUCTION PROJECT.] 
  1.8      The commissioner of transportation shall, at the earliest 
  1.9   feasible date, construct marked trunk highway No. 252, from its 
  1.10  intersection with 73rd Avenue North in Brooklyn Park to its 
  1.11  intersection with marked trunk highway No. 610 in Coon Rapids, 
  1.12  so as to provide three lanes of mixed-use travel in each 
  1.13  direction.  As part of the project the commissioner shall 
  1.14  permanently close the intersection of the highway with 70th 
  1.15  Avenue North in Brooklyn Park. 
  1.16     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.17     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
