  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to human services; modifying nursing home 
  1.3             geographic groups; amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, 
  1.4             section 256B.431, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 256B.431, is 
  1.7   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.8      Subd. 25.  [NURSING HOME GEOGRAPHIC GROUPS.] For rate years 
  1.9   beginning on or after July 1, 1995, when determining nursing 
  1.10  facility reimbursement rates, the commissioner shall modify the 
  1.11  nursing home geographic groups designated in Minnesota Rules, 
  1.12  part 9549.0052, by moving Sherburne county from group 2 to group 
  1.13  3.
